Nope! You should not try and feed your bearded dragon chives because chives contain a lot of phosphorus and calcium.
Bearded dragons need a particular ratio of phosphorus and calcium in their diet and the wrong amounts can cause health concerns for them.
On top of this chives are also very high in Vitamin A which isn’t great for a bearded dragons health.
If a bearded dragon is to consume too much Vitamin A it can cause their throat, body and eyes to swell up and make them very lethargic.
Therefore bearded dragons should not eat chives at all and should be completely avoided. There are a lot of better foods for bearded dragons to eat and you can read all about these foods here.
