Spaghetti is a traditional Italian dish that usually involves spaghetti pasta, sauce and possibly other toppings such as meatballs and cheese.
It is a filling and sometimes messy dish that many people love to eat.
There are a variety of sauces from tomato sauce which is traditional to possibly even a white pasta sauce used with spaghetti noddles.
The ingredients of the sauce usually contains such things as garlic and onions and other spices.
So can cats eat spaghetti at all?
No! The reason cats cannot eat spaghetti is mainly because of the toxic ingredients within the sauce. Both garlic and onions are toxic to cats and are very dangerous for their health.
Additionally the pasta itself is empty calories for cats and is not good for their health as well.
Therefore it is best to avoid spaghetti and especially spaghetti sauce all together when it comes to your cats diet.
If you happen to spill any sauce on the floor make sure to wipe it up right away and keep away from you pet cat as it could possibly even kill them.
If you suspect that you cat may have eaten some you should take your cat to the vet immediately.
