Raspberries are an extremely popular sweet and tart fruit that people love to eat in a variety of dishes or just by themselves.
This fruit is versatile in that it can be made into a puree, juice, dried and frozen easily. It can go in desserts or just be eaten plain.
So can gerbils eat raspberries?
Yes, but only a very small amount and only 1 – 2 times a week at most.
The reason being is that this fruit is very sweet and therefore too much would be bad for your gerbil to eat.
Therefore don’t overfeed raspberries to your gerbil and make sure they are fresh and cleaned ones from the store.
Do not feed wild raspberries to your gerbil as it could contain pesticides and pests.
