Invented by Australian Bennison Osborne, Weetabix is the UK version of the original Austraian Weet-Bix.
it is made from whole grain wheat and the version that is sold in the UK has 3.8 grams of fibre in 2 biscuits. The version sold in North America has 4 grams of fibre.
So can gerbils eat weetabix at all?
Yes, they can but only in a small amount. They will most likely enjoy eating it.
It is important to note that it should not be served with milk and it will make your gerbil sick.
Additionally a gerbil cannot have a flavored version of Weetabix or a sweetened version.
