A lot of people from time to time has issues with moss growing on their lawn.

The issue with this for most guinea pig owners is that when you put your guinea pig on the grass they tend to eat the grass which is fine, but what about the moss?

Can guinea pigs eat moss safely?

The good news here is that if your guinea pig happens to eat a little moss it will not hurt them.

From most peoples experiences they will find the most guinea pigs will turn their nose up to moss and not eat it as they do not enjoy the taste.

However if it were to happen it should be fine.

Additionally if you happen to give your guinea pig some grass that had some moss in it and you didn’t notice it should be fine for your guinea pig.
