Radicchio is a leaf vegetable that is sometimes known as an Italian chicory.
It has red leaves and white veins that go throughout the leaves. It has a spicy and also bitter taste.
It is usually grilled or roasted which will tone down the strong taste of this veggie.
So can guinea pigs eat radicchio at all?
Yes, but only 2 or 3 times a week at most as this veggie doesn’t contain a great deal of vitamin c which is really good for guinea pigs to eat.
In addition this veggie has a hint of phosphorus content, a little acidic content and a bit of fat and sugar.
Therefore as mentioned above guinea pigs can eat radicchio but in a limited fashion of two or three times a week.
