Anise grows to be roughly 3 feet tall and is a herbaceous annual plant.

The flowers are around 3 mm in diameter and are white. The leaves at the base of the plant are simple and between 1 – 5 cm long.

The leaves higher up on the plant are feathery pinnate and are divided into small leaflets.

Anise has been used for a long period of time in western cuisines in such things as drinks, flavor dishes and candies.

This plant has a distinct licorice like flavor.

So can rabbits eat anise plant at all?

No, they cannot.

Anise is not good for a rabbit and will make them sick so it is best to avoid feeding this plant to your rabbit.
