Can Rabbits Eat Chives

Can Rabbits Eat Chives

Yes rabbits can eat chives but only in moderation in small amounts. Chives contain a lot of calcium and phosphorus content and are a little acidic and therefore can only be eaten a little bit each week.

Anything more can make a rabbit sick.

As mentioned above there is a decent amount of calcium and phosphorus content and therefore you need to be careful how much chives you feed your rabbit.

Too much isn’t great for their health.

So be careful and only give a little bit of chives each week to your rabbit or avoid the food all together.
