Commonly referred to as elder or elderberry are part of the genus of flowering plants that are from the honeysuckle family.
This flowering plant also produces fruit of the same name which is also used to produce elderflower cordial.
So can rabbits eat elderberries at all?
Yes, but only 2 or 3 times a week and not many.
Make sure you moderate how much your rabbit eats as elderberries contain a lot of phosphorus content which is bad for rabbits.
Additional this fruit contains a little fat, fibre and calcium.
As well it is okay for rabbits to eat elderberry leaves.
